How quickly will I get a response?
We personally respond to every enquiry within 1–2 business days, usually sooner.
Do I need to pay a deposit to secure my spot?
Yes — departures are confirmed once your deposit lands. We'll walk you through the details once you have reached out to us with your dates and preferred options.
Can I request a private departure for my group?
Absolutely. Our private expeditions let you book Cape Grand, Cape Odyssey, or a fully bespoke route exclusively for your group.
What if I'm not sure which expedition is right for me?
Reach out to us directly — we'll be happy to discuss it in person with you and make recommendations on what suits you best.
Do you offer rider training before the expedition?
Yes. If you're new to adventure riding or want to build confidence before you go, our rider training gets you ready.
Is South Africa a good destination for a motorcycle tour?
The Western Cape's mountain passes, coastline and back roads are among the finest motorcycle touring country anywhere — and every route is guided by people who ride it themselves.
What riding experience is required?
Most riders should be comfortable on a large adventure motorcycle at touring pace. Off-road experience isn't required for Cape Grand's tar-only route, but is recommended for Cape Odyssey's gravel sections.
Do I need an international motorcycle licence?
A valid motorcycle licence is required, and international riders should carry an International Driving Permit. Let us know your country of origin when you enquire and we'll confirm exactly what's needed.
Can couples join?
Yes — many of our riders travel as couples, either both riding or one riding with a pillion passenger.
Can non-riders accompany us?
Get in touch to discuss — depending on the route and group, we're sometimes able to accommodate non-riding companions.
What motorcycles do you supply?

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes — just let us know any dietary requirements when you enquire and we'll make sure they're catered for throughout your expedition.
Can you arrange accommodation before or after the tour?
