CFMOTO 800MTx
A genuinely capable mid-weight adventure bike that punches above its price point, with a twin-cylinder engine and long-travel suspension that make it a comfortable, confidence-inspiring companion on gravel roads and mountain passes alike. Consider another option if you want the reassurance of a longer-established adventure brand.
Suzuki DL 800
Suzuki's V-Strom heritage runs deep, and this variant leans further off-road than any V-Strom before it — an eager twin-cylinder engine, long suspension travel and the easy, reassuring character V-Strom riders have trusted for two decades. Consider another option if you'd prefer a lower seat or a more relaxed, road-biased riding position.
BMW F800GS
The F800GS distills everything that makes the GS family special into a lighter, more approachable machine. Balanced and confidence-inspiring on mixed terrain, it's the bike most riders find themselves instantly at home on. Consider another option if you're chasing maximum off-road performance or extra range for the longest days.
BMW F900GS Adventure
Sharper and more powerful than the F800GS, the F900GS Adventure adds a bigger tank and more suspension travel for longer days between fuel stops — built for riders who want more without stepping up to the full-size GS. Consider another option if you'd prefer a lower, more accessible seat height.
Honda AT (Manual)
Few names carry more weight in adventure motorcycling than Africa Twin. The manual gearbox keeps you fully connected to the torquey twin-cylinder engine, rewarding riders who want complete control on technical terrain. Consider another option if you'd rather not manage a clutch on technical terrain.
Honda AT (DCT)
The same legendary Africa Twin platform, fitted with Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission. Gear changes happen automatically and instantly, freeing you to focus entirely on the road — or the lack of one — ahead. Consider another option if you enjoy the engagement of a traditional manual gearbox.
BMW R1300GS
The GS that every other adventure bike is measured against. The boxer-twin engine, refined electronics and planted handling make the R1300GS as comfortable devouring highway miles as it is picking through a rocky pass. Consider another option if you want the extra fuel range and wind protection of the Adventure variant.
BMW R1300GS Adventure
The Adventure variant takes everything the R1300GS does well and adds the fuel range, wind protection and comfort to go further between stops — built for the days when the next town is a long way off. Consider another option if you'd prefer a lighter, more manageable bike at a lower seat height.
